Mercedes-Benz didn’t exactly go crazy with steering wheels in the older AMG cars. For the most part, they were off the shelf steering wheels from base models cars and they really don’t belong any near a performance car. In this video I replace the steering wheel in my 2003 E55 AMG with a much nicer flat bottom, Alcantara wrapped, aluminum paddle shifter equipped steering wheel. This wheel looks absolutely perfect and is what Mercedes should have used back in the day.
