car is sold
Part 5 of 5: In this video, I fix on the brakes, to make those a little more gooder. Resolve the rear end track bar bushings, and put the fuel system back to the original NASCAR spec. Then, of course, a proper test.

Boneheaded maneuver:
Hooked up battery cables happy side sad and vice grip versus the the ground hot on an ingersoll Randy. It started the deutz diesel just fine and instantly melted the alternator.
need to get rid of the broken wondscreen…why go to the trouble of putting in a broken one? seems odd
Derek, do you do your own music for the channel?
aint seen the whole episode yet, but didnt ya say the transmission leaked bad enough to keep the frame from rusting back in episode 2?
I like this five episodes from an abandoned vehicle to a very beautiful machine. Start to finish. I wish we could have seen how it sold and what it sold for I am sure it was well with your time
Back when I was a kid in the sixties you never seen anyone under the age of fifty driving one of these unless they just inherited one from grandma. My favorite Buicks were the "buck tooth" ones from the late forties thru the early fifties. We used to say they were so ugly they were cute. But then again my dad had a '54 Roadmaster when I was born and kept it until 1960 so I remember it well.
Sadly as each flipper adds their bite to these rigs, eventually they become over-invested mantel pieces to never be enjoyed by the upcoming generation of aspiring gearheads. That's why these won't exist in the near future.
My father-in-law was a millwright at a packing facility, and he had a hitch like that that he rigged up himself very similar and that is for a fishing boat something not quite as heavy as a camper doesn’t make much sense but when you don’t have money, that’s what you do
Derek you could sell this to farmtruck and azn from street outlaws 405 team it's right up their ally! ❤
I think I might want one of these someday. My bid Midwestern body can fit and I like the look
That hitch is perfect for hauling multiple gravity boxes to the ole elevator
So yeah I’m addicted to Derek’s videos. He asked for some stupid human automotive stories…. It’s well been about 38 million years ago but a guy needed to fix his brakes…. We’ll being new to working on cars having no tools or experience I went to the base auto shop we’re a guy could get a bay with a lift and work on the car a bit. Well I got all the wheels off replaced the front disc brake pads and decided to have a look at the rear drums. Well I fought to get them off. So I’m looking and the shoes are shot but I didn’t have those…. So I figured quickest move would be to through the tires back on and go get them! 🚨. Got it down fired it up through it in reverse. Started out ….. Yep pedal to the floor! 65 mustangs have a brake reservoir with a single chamber for front and back brakes… So I’m headed out of the bay and somebody had they’re Chevy pickup parked sideways behind that bay. Panicking I tried to pump the no brakes pedal and nothing so I thru the gear selector back into D. But I hit the truck before the transmission made nasty noises and had me headed back in the building with NO BRAKES! Now other people had gathered inside to see what the racket was and realized I was a lil out of control! They scattered! I finally tried the emergency brake handle! Uh I didn’t put the drums back on you see. 🙈🚨🚨. Yep I through it into park just before I tapped the wall with the bumper! That’s learning a whole lot about brakes hydraulics single reservoir master cylinders and drum brake components in one big disaster. There were about three huge guys that had arrived in the pickup dented the bed on and they looked like they spent way more time with the weights than I had! They just wanted some cash for the damage. I didn’t have any of that. PFC don’t usually have any of that. I called the MPs so we could just do a insurance claim. They weren’t happy! I just wanted some referees! I still have that old car! There you go
WHY DIDNT YOU PUT THE RAISED LETTERING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TIRES ON THE 63 BUICK
Love that Buick !!
There a feller here on the West Coast that's doing revivals. He's got a YouTube channel, and is a great guy, too. Countyboy Garage! He is in the process of getting his channel up after being hacked. You're still my favorite, but I'm watching him, as well.
that turned out sweet but I'd love to see you do a 65 Rivera, memory lane project.
bone headed mistakes, yes my high school girl friend and luckily my friend knocked he up before I did.
Hey !!!
That AC/DC esq guitar solo darn near melted down my device!!
who in this world did that?
jumping, holy smoke house! That was hot!!!
I was fixing a 2013 Mitsubishi lancer bending the front back to straight from hitting a deer. And also had to make it run. Long story short. Didn't put the hood latch on after I got it running took of down the road and thought about, and as soon as I did WAM RUINED THE HOOD AND WINDHIELD. lol bonehead
I don't know what was wrong with my 63 LeSabre I had as a kid but every time I would do a block long burn out it would break the motor mount.
That sound is good 👍
