After months of searching, I called WildFire Lifts after I saw their beam and post design. A huge bonus, they’re a father-son team that’s local to me here in Minneapolis, so I couldn’t ask for a better team to be a part of. In this episode, they actually install it for me and run it through the paces. We’ll test on it by putting the 1970 Cadillac on it, and finally get a nice view of the undercarriage (YOU’LL BE SURPRISED!).

Firstly, I love your videos. I was about to buy the Advantage 4 post when I came across this video. What I see online made me think it was better – thicker cables, larger diameter pulleys. What did you see that you chose the Wildfire lift? I am a 70 year-old retired computer programmer so I defer to your knowledge and experience of mechanics.

Did you move this to TN when you moved? If you did, how far did you disassemble to move it? I want to get a lift, but am not looking forward to moving it when I move in a year or two.

This Hep-Cat is as groovy as Dr Who 40 yrs ago. Thank God he has 460 videos plus Membership bonus shows. I just sort by Going to Video Oldest..then like 👍 it and use downloader at 1920 HD save to phone and use Samsung Smart View to mirror to big screen TV then delete when seen. I only watch from oldest to newest seeing how things changed and kids bigger too fast. Great Dad to let um at it with work young!! Way to go Derek.

That’s a sweet sweet piece of machinery there. And that caddy needs a complete resto. That thing would be mint. Love it.
I like the lift, but I am not a fan of where the lock handle is located near the front tire. It looked like he was almost going to hit it. I might change the lever, but other than that it looks like a really nice lift.
I really like the lift and the features it has. Too bad they only go as high as 9k lifting capacity. I need something in the 11-12k range.
I heard you say you had the wheel skirts for this Cadillac, yet after seeing this Cadillac in multiple videos,

My favorite dream of having a lift delivered n setup working……I can see n know how a feller thanks heavy metal lifting ability I too would feel (n will some day ) safely without scetchy situations on jacks n jackstands dirt mudd trying praying to survive one more dare lol so awesomeness and congratulation ….n boy that ol caddy's solid!!!!

Have you had any bearing issues? After 2 years of OCD research on 4 post automotive lifts I ordered the ALI certified Advantage SS-11000 WD vice the Wildfire lift. Was originally looking at their 9000 XLT. It was bushings with zerk fittings vs bearings and ALI certification that finally made this decision. Most of my youtube big name hero's got their Wildfire lifts sponsored. This is a product that I will only by once. Wildfire makes a great lift while Advantage does have the advantage in my eyes for only a few hundred dollars more. Purchased a couple days ago. Delivery is 4-6 weeks.
