In this video, I talk about how I went from literally not knowing how to. add engine oil to being a Mercedes-Benz Master Certified Journeyman technician in 2 years. I also talk about what I do for a living, how I got started as a tech and why I left Mercedes. Oh, I talk about going to fulltime YouTube.
Enjoy!

  1. I'm scared/happy that this is my future because he explained my situation RN. I don't wanna go to collage and i don't have a dad around to help and my school (which i already dropped out) had no automotive classes.

  2. I am honestly just realizing how lucky I am to have YouTube I am 17 and have what I would consider a lot of knowledge about cars solely from YouTube, and it took me a second to realize you never used to be able to do that.

  3. I audited your channel and found some problems. Your channel is not SEO'd, there is no description in the video. They help a video stand out from the crowd. This is the problem with your channel. ❤

  4. so glad that you made this video because i just started an automotive course and i don’t know a single thing about cats just like you said and every one in my class has prior knowledge i feel so dumb in the class

  5. Edison and pGe are good spot better than dealership but theres better spots. Better wages. Better schedules 3/12 or 4/10 all day. No weekend and no evenings

  6. My dad was a hot rodder in the 60's and knew enough to not let me do anything I thought was cool to a car at that time. I appreciate it, but will probably let my boys make some stupid mistakes and dig themselves out

  7. Hi sir plz answer my question
    Today i went to buy 1 honda jazz 1.4 petrol 76 mileage 2012 3400.
While driving the car there was vissel sound coming like battry car like that.
Without driving ideal car same vissel sound comes but when i press the clutch sound goes.
    1) what is that problem
    2) I should buy that car or not
If i should buy then what price should be and there was shocker problem as well but not serious as mention in MOT.
Plz suggest me what should i do

  8. Im 27 and just started at a college for automotive technology certificate. I want to work on trucks but also higher end cars, any advice is welcome i just want to be able to not fall behind. Its pretty exspensive to.

  9. I saw the name of the video and thought “ I can relate “ because I knew nothing about cars one year ago but I make sure to learn everyday. I still clicked on this video because if I’ve learned anything it’s that even if you think you know everything about a topic there is always more to learn

  10. Just found a love for cars my senior year, I am going into automotive with almost no experience. Thank you for this video it's so encouraging!

  11. I used to love looking out the window at cars on the road as a kid, and when I was really young I’d sometimes look inside neighbors cars through the car’s windows. Of course I don’t do the latter anymore but my auto passion was reignited when I got my permit 3 years ago, after which I read up on all automakers in existence, what kinds of cars they built and what those cars were called.

The mother load for me was finding out which cars were hybrids and electric and how much their mileage was boosted.

    That said, awesome video!

  12. Can't be a ase certified master tech it requires passing all test and having 2 yrs hands on exp your school was 1 yr long so they will substitute 6 months not sure how you can be a master tech in 11 months

  13. Love your vids. Especially the Electric concept van. I need a recommendation for one of the products you like. I have a new Subaru and would like to put on one of the ceramic coatings. I'm 80 so it has to be easy. What do you recommend. Thank you

  14. Hello i have a cls550 2014 I am extremely frustrated, I am currently on my 5th kickstarter, when it’s changed, everything is fine for a few weeks, then suddenly, it stops working, after a few tries to start the engine, it literally that smoking. We have changed the crank sensor, kickstarter and even tried using the car without the push to start. All to no avail, it just keeps burning out. Please help

  15. Imagine looking back at the privilege and being like “Yea the elevation at the time wasn’t appropriate” but was basically the whole foundation to the story
