These Cadillac 472 and 500 would have run much better had they not only offered them in single exhaust from the factory.
Love how basically everything can be taken appart with either a 1/2 or 9/16 socket.

You said you have to "add" .050 to the length of the pushrod after measurement? I thank you meant subtract? to get your preload depth.
I can't believe you did this much work and didn't go ahead and put a few more hours of labor and some more parts into completing the rebuild with a refresh of the piston rings, main and rod bearings, and…..really properly blast clean every part. It wouldn't have been much more time or money.
Why not clean the crud off the engine with a pressure washer?
How much to do mine ? It's already freshly rebuild?
Instead of making horsepower why not MPG in these days of high fuel prices?

I have a -76 Eldorado with fuel injection,210hp…If doing this uppgrade,will the fuel injection still work without any mods?Another thing…Can the transmission take the extra power?

Nothing like replacing steel for aluminium it puts more money in your pocket and garantees the intake manifold cavatates and antifreeze gets in the oil in five years and make sure you use after market China parts so you can take American engineering to its funeral
Use .006 start lift, its better and tells more about the camshaft. Also tells us more about valve overlap rather than valve separation angle !!!!
Ford rears are not as awsome as every one claims learned that 4×4 I seen lot of ford conversions blow up I'm not impressed

They could!
The caddy 500 Cubbert engine always made Chevy, Ford, and Mopar scared that Caddy would build a sports car with that engine in it. They know they would be outgunned by that beast of an engine.
Them 500 and 472 ci motors made tons of torque way back when.
What did you overhaul the motor or just add on heads and cam?
