The NVIDIA K1 processor was announced at CES 2014, and we checked it out running Trine 2. The mobile implementation is the spitting image of the console counterpart.

  1. i have shield tablet and this game, and its not laggy at all, this video is laggy, not the actual game…you people are just so uhhgg

  2. This game is very demanding i can max this out with dual 485ms and I get 45~ frames remember this is portable you can't take your Xbox out of the house whenever you want ,to played on the go please try to use common sense and do not compare this chip with a high end PC It's basically like having a PlayStation 3 in your hands But with better graphics and better performance

  3. This is just a poor device… too much lag… even if it manages to play console games where the f**k would my mobile device get it's juice … Nvidia wants my phone to be plugged in 24×7.. just make a game gear kind of device with a high end pc gpu which is able to connect to my Tv.. this is all waste..

  4. its lagging sure but i think its not finished yet…..so hope it will optimized better…. still to me snapdragon is the best….. and they can beat the k1 anytime….. personally ive used tegra 3 powered Nexus 7 and Htc One X and they are awful….. now usin new Snapdragon powered Nexus 7 and its awsome….. Tegra is not so worthy processor to me…..

  5. Indeed Adrian the tegra 3 was a piece of crap. Nvidia proved that they are not that good at mobile hardware. They only have great marketing with all there cores!

  6. I honestly believe that this game can run exactly the same way on Tegra 4 hardware as it currently does on NVIDIA K1. This K1 chip may be more powerful than T4 in specs/numbers but in terms of the visuals & what you see on the screen, it's pretty much the same. It's all just marketing talk by NVIDIA to sell their new chip.

  7. This looks very slow and laggy to me, impressive that it's running there but it's slow and maybe 10-15 fps
