KNIPEX sent me a few of their products to review. I actually took about a month to use these tools before I recorded the review. In that time I really got to know these products. In my opinion, they’re quality made, useful tools. If you’re in the market for a good set of pliers or cutters, I’d check out what KNIPEX has to offer.

Tool reviews posted every other Wednesday.

  1. I have a set of end nippers made by Knipex that I got from my uncle. They must be pretty old because they say "made in W. Germany" on them. These are definitely well made tools not like the made in China junk that proliferates in the stores today. I go to estate sales looking for good quality USA made wrenches and other tools to avoid the Chinese junk.

  2. Hey Eric a great presentation for those terrific Knipex tools. I really like your tool reviews, much appreciated from Canada 🇨🇦.

  3. Waiting for a pair of Pliers Wrench and Raptors right now. I have the Cobras. I’ll never buy Channel Locks again.

  4. The "K" is not silent. From what I heard it is pronounced "K-nee-pex". Always thought it was Nipex… Pretty decent though.. And I think you had the wrong pliers that showed the ability to cut through nails. You showed the bolt cutters, which If they are "bolt" cutters, I would for sure hope they can cut through nails. It showed those "Diagonal Cutters" cutting through a nail. I'll know here in a couple days because I ordered some. Great review (as always). Thanks Eric.

  5. Hey Eric. Thanks for posting the prices. Trying to figure out wether something is inflated or not, right now, is a PITA!

Just saw these plier wrenches and was blown away. I could do damn near 90% of what I need to with a pair of them, Allen packs, and cobras at work lol.

  6. Love the design of the channel locks, but those little teeth don't look nearly as strong as the "old" design.

  7. the inside of the bold cutters are used to tie or twist wires that's what i use it for like working on a fence great review i love these tools i am on a mission to own them all i have mostly all already

  8. I think I've got the "stay dirty" part down. I had to wash my hair in Dawn after I replaced my alternator, before I replaced the valve cover gasket causing a steady oil leak. It deposited thick grease all over the lower engine compartment and drivers side suspension. I'm cleaning it up as I work on the suspension. It's a black gooey mess.

  9. I have a pair of Knipex "water pump pliers" that have W.Germany stamped on as the country of manufacture. Not just German but West Germany. This means they were built during the Russian occupation of East Germany I also have a pair of water pump pliers with the lock and don't care for it. You can also "lock" the pliers on a piece of pipe.

  10. Those Cobra water pump pliers have rescued many a rounded off fastener or stripped out screw for me. I believe you can also stand on them when you lock them don on something.

  11. Cara, eu tenho essas ferramentas e sei o quento são maravilhosas. pretendo ter todos alicates Knipex! Muito bom seu vídeo.
