Why don’t you use solid motor mounts. They won’t go bad.
I hate the idea of this new thrill kill game of turning tyres into smoke! Absolutely worthless waste and decadent ruination of machinery like the Fall Of Rome days of wastralism sports in a coliseum to entertain the masses of dorks. Skip it+
What’s the radiator and fan setup ? Love the cleanliness
Love the content. Do something else with the interior. The baby poop gold/yellow needs to GO!!!! 😳
I had injector issues w/ 2000 Chevrolet 3500 dually 454 . Did a top-end rebuild put in aftermarket injectors (new) had to tear it down again 3-injectors were spraying. Asked what temperature they tested the injectors they sold said around 180° I laughed because those big block Chevy's run normally around 210°. Giving you my experience with injectors !!!
When I did a 454 for a K5 blazer off road truck, I used solid motor mounts. Mine was built for tourqe not high rpms. Did the same noisy gears, very annoying. Used a Demon fuel maker roller rockers ect, still runs good 8 years later but in a square nose Chevy pickup. The blazer was too beat up from rock crawling. Has a 700R4 behind it now. Pretty good fuel mileage for a big block.
That is amazing the valve head didn't pop off. All kinds of bad avoided. Glad it's fixable and not needing sleeves, heads, ect etc. Keep on motoring, everybody everybody and everybody. Yep – 3 times.
The TV shows get that much done in a week. They come in with a 5 pound bag of tools and end up building a show car out of a block of rust. I think you might be too picky on the planets aligning before anything gets done. Only other thing that might help is sign up for several more commitments to add some drama to the dance. Thanks for the video and keep em coming.
Wanna know if your girls gonna actually help, she comes dressed in black with gloves on and a smile, i think we all know why you kept this sweetheart around
Refresh engine and shine juice that paint and fix bed
Love when u include your family in videos. U. R. LUCKY
Stud girdles and I like self aligning rockers arms, so much less stress on valve guides and no push rod guide plates
Oh and No more skids in the burnout pit please keep that car alive if it was me I would slowly take my skills and resources to re-re that car and even clear coat the paint so it preserves its awesome paint job.
Hey by any chance did you guys get the frame work done on that Chevelle cause I remember some of the first episode's you should how bad it was?. I'm wondering if any of your other cars might have a more solid frame to put under independence.
Yes sir Master Derek
Also when I pressure wash that old Mustang I would put a garbage bag around the air cleaner intake so they didn't get no water in there you stay safe please don't ever get hurt you're a genius don't fuck your hands up or anything else
Is that a Yamaha 250 MX!? My high school murder sickle!
Bleep boop… down below
It was fun watching the initial build of the engine. It will be just as much fun watching the rebuild and upgrade for it's next home.
By the way Derek, you know Hobo-freight sells or has available an engine hoist leveler, separately adjustable for a very reasonable price! , I know you’ve mentioned that you do not have one!? I bought one when I purchased their heavy duty cherry picker Engine hoist , and a set of HD straps when I was outfitting my home shop before I retired! That and a few links of the proper size chain and you can pull just about any engine out , except a Fellers Caterpillar D8🤪…..Regards Mad Mike S. ☃❄🥶From the freezing ass cold of Co. ….
Are the hoists bolted to the ground , I was just wondering. do they need to be ?
☃🥶❄👍.
That’s a pretty nice Floor . I’m a gear head first and foremost but I make my living with my mom and pop Epoxy /decorative concrete business
You have a good woman there and she's a gearhead
Even though I know how it turns out it’s still fun for a feller to go back and watch these videos I missed.
Would love to see an upgrade to ohc engine. Get rid off all those rods to you can rev away.
I love Big blocks, but I'm sorry for what you want to do you need game, still crank, Lemonheads with a lot more seat pressure, and I mean a lot to give you that quick pop, love the show keep doing what you doing, PS need help with motors PA boys know what they're doing
Did that car belong to the self defence dude in the movie Napoleon Dynamite. He had pants to match 😂
🤟
Junkyard LS and a presherwash
Yes they seem like a great family America needs more like them to many take love for granted but what's really scary is we treat God like a fairy tale.
That could have been much worse.
Your wife knows more about cars than 90% of guys….Impressive!!
Way to go! Jess.
