Man, on a motor as nice as that you should have some safety razors to scrap silicone off block. It would be a shame to gouge it up with the metal ones, the edges deform way to easy on those metal blades, and leave small lines n cuts in aluminum.

I understand proline idea about the foam. Easier to take the intake off. But not me when you are running for a championships. I would use the 3 bond.
The yellow gasket sealer (gorilla snot) is to be used a certain way… You put the bead of yellow snot down then quickly put the gasket on it, smear a second and remove gasket. Put gasket back on in around 3 to 5 minutes… That gasket WILL NOT MOVE! 30 years and retired now…
We found that. 3 bond sticks better than the gray right stuff or the GM. I will find the part numbers. All GM dealers have to use it on the new stuff.
