  1. The editing was pretty bad on this one. Talking about next step is supporting the pinion on the rear while showing the front upper ball joint and then putting on the shackles mentioned twice while showing the front leaf drop bracket. Oh well, I know it’s not a step by step tutorial but still.

  2. I must be old fashion. I'm more of a regular cab long bed kind of guy…………because hauling and towing is what they are designed for. If I want an ass hauler, I'll buy a high occupant capacity van. At this point, these pickups are basically SUVs with the ass end chopped and bedded. Sadly, these smaller turbo charged engines just can't compete with a good ol' V8. Everyone I know that uses these newer trucks say they are great for regular everyday stuff, but hauling and towing is a joke. smfh.

  3. Pet peeve: those are coilover shocks, not struts. Struts mount rigidly at the bottom end (usually with two cam bolts), shocks are pinned at both ends.

AFAIK there are no real trucks with struts, the Sprinter (not really a truck) is one of the few large vehicles I know of that uses struts. Not sure what else uses a front leaf spring and front struts…
