I don't know why fellahs get so wrapped around the axle by NASCAR tribute cars. It's not a replica. A tribute can be anything! I could wrap up my mom's bog stock 1994 Honda Civic so it looked like Richard Petty's Roadrunner and that would be a perfectly acceptable tribute.

Before it gets dropped in, the valve cover O-Rings and the oil pan gasket need to be changed. Any rubber anything that GM used/ uses is garbage!!! Starting in '99, the coil packs on each side are mounted together on one bracket instead of being individual. Since that's true, you can mount them elsewhere, not where they look ugly on the valve covers.

Them springs you pointed out on the original clutch pressure plate mean that its the self adjusting flavour it's designed to keep the clutch bitting point in the same place as the clutch wears, when the springs are stretched open it means clutch is going bad
