  1. You destroyed this engine by choosing to drive it knowing it had bad headgaskets, the piston detonated because of the coolant leaking into it. Went from a head gasket job to an entire engine rebuild, for what, views? I refuse to believe a master tech made such an amateur mistake

  2. i don't understand why when you flushed the engine u flushed through the radiator instead of just pulling the bottom and top hoses from the block it self and connect the hose to the top and just let it run for 5 min. the extra volume and escape of water would have gotten alot more debris then just the bottom of the rad or even fill the block with vinegar let sit 24 hrs and drain it…. cheers

  3. Constructive criticism here…. unless you know absolutely nothing or come from the southeast US, it is called an engine. Your starter is the motor, the engine is not. Calling an engine "a motor" makes you sound like your wife is your sister. Good day.

  4. Using the proper coolant will prevent that rust, I bet they used tap water in there (previous owners) and it caused all that rust.. some people are just plain out stupid

  5. I put a poly trans mount on my '95 Z28, M6, and my '00 Camaro SS A4. I kept tearing up stock mounts on both. I found that using poly trans mounts keeps you from tearing up motor mounts. That being said, when I do my engine project on the SS, I am going to do a poly on the passenger side and rubber on drivers. In the good ol days, I did a steel on the pass and rubber on drivers on my '70 Cuda 440. Some people used to chain the drivers side to the frame, but you can crack the drivers side block doing that.

  6. hi my name is Paolo and I follow you from Italy … I have a question … can you help me? where is the engine number code printed in to the block? I'm desperate … thanks …

  7. My experience with aftermarket bottom end fasteners I have seen issues with the arp rod bolts. We have always used factory rod bolts and never had issues.

  8. My self leveler I removed the handle and put a double nut on it and use the impact to tilt the engine. I learned that trick back in the early 90s.
