I'm almost sure I used to drive by Sir Vival in Bellingham MA in the 1970s. It was parked in front of a shop where Route 126 crossed over Route 140.
🌠 🔥🔥🔥 Big Motivation
G body's are some of the last full frame Performance car's which I love!! I had Grand Nationals, and Monte Carlo SS's in my collection. Great Build Tommy and as always your dry humor is the best. What size and offset Welds did you guys come up with? Thanks for all the shows guys.
Too bad we can't hear the motor run over your mouth.
Go find a real dragstrip where you can feel the wind in your hair at the big end.
Completely killed that launch. Driver must of jad a bad case of itchy cooch and funky vaginitas which was affecting the response and vision. That aroma must of been floating up ruining the vision and reaction time. Looked like a stock AOD launching w/ 150 k miles.
Are hood bulges a necessary component? I’ve seen nice cars ruined by cartoonish bulges. This one is not too bad, a slight bulge.
Man, am I glad that ol' Mr. Boshers here is still at it.
I've been watching PowerNation since I was just a boy, back when PowerNation was called PowerBlock.
This build is easily my favorite build that PowerNation has ever done.
I adore G bodies, I always have. Particularly the Hurst/Olds and the turbo Regals. This Olds is spot on. I wouldn't change a thing.
I know with everything invested into this car including the price of the car exceeds 32,000 and 7.80s in the eighth is pretty good for a naturally aspirated street car my 2011 Camaro SS with a new GM performance LS3 495 horsepower crate engine with CNC ported and milled LS3 heads a built 6L80e transmission with a Circle D 4200rpm lock up stall converter with other mods with stock 3.27 gears has gone 7.22 at 96mph running on E85 l have 31-32 thousand invested into it including the price of the car used car weights 3920 with me in it full interior and AC all motor naturally aspirated this time was achieved with just 6 passes
Can you imagine if they dropped a 455 from the factory in these g-body cars back then🤑🤑🤑🤑sold out at a alarming rate but couldn't do it ☹☹☹☹
9:90 from the granada?
My all time favorite car is the Hurst olds ( from Warren Johnson days ) if this car is ever sold I'd like to be in the conversation.
Total different attitude
Really cool that they left it all Oldsmobile hard things do these days.ps
Go olds 🚀🚀
Need to turn down all of the "CONSTANT" background music. so we can hear the sounds of the engines in the cars, after all isn't that what this channel is all about???????
Dale Earnhardt color scheme?
if u notice they totally skipped the startup of the engine with the Fitech.
i guarantee you they had issues with it.
The nig-o-matic rims ruin this car's look. Otherwise nice job!
Why so dang SLOW? That's just terrible, my 5.0 LX with heads and cam 20 years ago ran that ET and MPH. Car guys want results, it gets so old seeing 99% of car shows spend allllll this money to go that slow.
Take the T tops off!
When you're trying to hear the car rolling by and they won't shut up…
Nice
I will put the Lane Museum on my list of places to visit in 2023.
My Uncle bought his 83’ new off the showroom floor back then. Prettiest car of 80’s 180 horse v8’s……….
Love the series I’m building 3 g bodies right now
'83-84 Hursts we're rated at 180, not 150.
Those seats!!! 🤮
IIRC, they were actually 180 HP stock.
Fantastic! 🏁
That Hurst Olds is one of the best builds yet from this crew. I wish I knew more about 1/8 mile times and how good or bad they were.
The neck snapper seats gotta go.
It's still a mid 80s olds.. having driven one many years I can say that they are… crap at best.
That Museum has to be one of the craziest places I've seen. Definitely worth a look. Yeah, the car came out awesome! What was the diff ratio?
Yeah, done watching you guys. Sad, used to really enjoy your content.
One of these days, you guys at Power Nation need to build an Open Road Rally Racing car. Nevada, Texas, Nebraska. Flat out on a public highway, Legally!
This is a perfect daily driver hot rod.
Looks great! Just hate those buckets sans headrests 👍
So did it have a better time but a slower trap speed with the slicks? The no decimal point numbers are crap.
