  1. I grew up wrenching – in fact my favorite Christmas present when I was 15 was a set of SK sockets. No hobo freight then. First car was a 72 valiant – I worked on it getting it road ready and had it on the road for the day I got my license.

  2. I'd drive that LS Duster with pride every summer to Kenosee Lake Provincial Park Beach & Campground here in Saskatchewan 🇨🇦 while bragging about it to anyone who asks, where did you get that awesome looking car, Vice Grip Garage my answer would be with a good story behind it. I'd park & store it with loving care during the cold winter months here. Great Vice Grip Garage YouTube content Derek, Thank you Sir.

  3. Many moons ago, when I was much younger and dumber, I hade a 73 Plymouth scamp. I loved that car. I had a 318 2bbl "stuffed-in" , it had a 6 banger to start. Stock exhaust manifold, because headers wouldnt fit…the steering monster was in the way…yeah.Replaced the 904 Trans to a 727 with a B/M shift kit, that was also stuffed in, really stuffed in, so stuff, the linkage was moved forward- no park. Bucket seats from a wreaked duster. I loved that car, so much i traded it in for a new 86 Toyota 4 wheel drive pickup..to this day, I still make "questionable decisions" FML…

  4. Derek,
Thank you for providing good clean fun while inspiring young ones to be productive AND helping our veterans!
You are one of the good ones!
    Metrics, God, country!
May the good Lord bless you and your beautiful family. You all deserve it! 👍

  5. Hi Derek Love your show. Yes I'm a 59 year old woman who loves trucks and muscle cars. Unfortunately my husband and son don't share my love of all things four wheels. My brother in law was watching your show while I was visiting and I was hooked. I live in Lindsborg KS. There was a REO Speed Wagon Museum. It was moved to McPherson College in McPherson KS, just a few miles south of Lindsborg. McPherson College offers a 4 yr degree in Auto Restoration. Jay Leno dumps tons of money for scholarships. Some some pretty cool car shows. I'd loved to win the Duster to drive in the shows. Thanks for doing what you dò.
