Please define wobblepops and cold snacks for my survival
Had a friend that had one of those put a Holley 4 barrel on it his father told him to take it off because he'd lose his warranty
Question, why not let your boys help you Derek
Why don't they put drain plugs in transmission pans?
Yes, you certainly are a legend, Derek! Love this channel and love your work!! God bless you, buddy!!
Gas tank lid
This was one of my favorite episodes ever love the car its so Amazing Derek you and the family are amazing from one alley mechanic to a master mechanic and Im barely scrating the surface of your talents brother God bless 🙏🤗🍻🍻
I had a 68 bird with a 350 blew that, then a 389, blew that, then a 1957 GTO 400 4 barrel. It was white with a black vinyl top. Had a 3 speed lasalle shifter in it with a big Schaffer racing clutch. I could barely put air in the tires. My brother like you a mechanic use to work on it. Still the best looking car I ever had, and I’ve had a few. Car wasn’t fast but it handled great!
Well I hate to tell you but you are a legend to a lot of people just like the guy said in the background
All them people watching you bud, I'm sure a couple would have loved to hold up the gearbox when you ragged the motor out. 😀
Love these old era firbirds!my first car was a 1969 /400 /4 speed m21
😎❤🤍💙❤🤍💙
I have to say Derek is the best i have watched..
Derek I'm a truck driver and i came across your videos a couple years ago.. you will never know how your videos help me pass the the time while out here on the road i play your videos and listen while driving. I watch your videos before going to sleep, and first thing in morning when i wake up.. and you got a fellower thinking this what i want to do when it's time to call it from running the road. I want this for my two kids.. thank you so much. I've got to meet you one day
Oh, don't worry I made it, but I didn't see your booth!
I was sure from the original Firebird episode when you had the camera up in the freeze plug hole that those cylinders were siamesed, indicating a 400 not a 350
I’m sure you hear this all the time but I had a 68 Firebird 400 and it was the sweetest car I’ve ever owned. 50 years ago it had to go since I was getting married and having a child. There is no better Muscle Car in my mind. It was fast and my dad hated it. She was two years old when I got her. Ram air and all. I’ll be 72 this year and I sure miss her.
VGG needs a Super Treasure Hunt (STH) Hotwheel car. Or better yet Car culture hot wheel varient. So you dint have to worry about scalpers or snipers grabbing every car up. Reselling for crazy price. Gas monkey garage has Hot wheel car. VGG is on a whole new level!
I can for see Long Meyer chevy truck hot wheel for 7.99. Car culture varient.
My dad and I used to go to Iola every yr. Always had a vendor spot with a car and classic parts for sale.
Do you have any vehicles for sale? And would you bring one of them to me in Iowa?
Let me know what you think. Thanks.
John
It needs a 455 Pontiac.
Legenderek
I love the way Bentley is so much a helper for you. My baby brother was always my big helper, until he became 10x the mechanic I ever was, and I became HIS helper!
Did anyone at this event see a guy take that hat off? I'm wondering if a guy really has that long of hair or if it's attached to that hat Lol!! I just want to see hom do a revival without a hat on lol!!
When’s part 2
Every one of your videos is an adventure and learning experience. Way to go Derek.
arguably the best-looking '60's muscle car and my personal favorite. only a couple of guys owned the 400 version (or more accurately, their fathers owned them) back in my high school days.
I just had one question do you not want help or our are all these guys watching her watching you expecting you to do it all hey man if I was ever wherever you were at dude I'd give you a hand unless you didn't want it
That's probably the most impressive thing I've seen you do. Working on camera where you can edit things out lets you pick and choose what goes out, but working in front of a live audience is very challenging!
Please come back next year!!!
As everybody watches you do what you had to do he reminds me of the politics here in America 1 guys doing something and nobody does anything except what
This is great content with your family as your pit crew you must be one proud papa love it
That is my favorite car when I was in highschool some people had them. I always thought they were and our the coolest.
Man bro. Bogus. There was a little kid with his had up. Say me me me please me. For a spark plug. U walked right buy it and gave it to some old ass man.. what old man gonna do with one spark plug At least the kid would of been soooooo happy cuz his role model u. He would tell all his friends. If I was u. I would track down that little boy and send him a autograph
I almost inhaled my coffee when he mentioned the black widows in the golves.
My Chevrolet dealers keep create motors on their shelves here in Jacksonville Florida LS and LTs 604 and 602
MAN….TOUGH on the core and bumper bubba
Easiest motor to ever pull out. Without removing rad. Was 70 to 72 Monte Carlo. Had a 4 foot fan shroud….lol
My buddy and I used to pull my circle track engine, and put another one in and fir it up in 58 minutes. From the looks if it. I could have sold tickets to watch us. Only catch. Skynard .38 special and Molly Hatchet was loud
I alway stick a old yock in tranny to keep it from leaking
Working flat on your back. Will make you old, quickly…..been there done that. God Bless
People’s champ
Wow! How could you focus on this project with all the attention, Cameras, etc. That would drive me crazy.
Love the live work, I always wanted to see someone do this. Awesome
It had to be stressful to work with all of those people watching 👀! I'm an introvert so, for me this is nightmare fuel😱! 😂..
I wish I knew you were there, I would love to come see you and maybe even lend a hand. I miss wrenching on old cars.
Very 😎 cool
Next time . . . honestly . . . microphone and small PA so the crowd around you can hear your thoughts and musings while working.
I've never understood why they don't put a drain plug in an AT pan.
You gotta leave the jack handle up at all times brother. Safety third haha
If you’re gunna be a circus animal, they should at least let you have some cold snacks!
