  1. Nothing wrong with autozone and advance auto parts. I buy from them all the time. Recently i had my car diagnosed with a rotted subframe and all the parts provided by the shop are from advance auto parts and napa. Or i believe its from them because the parts number came up for advance and napa. And whats even worse is i got charged doubled the price smfh. Tried to negotiate on the price and they wont even budge to lower it. I understand shops markup their prices, but doubling up is super ridiculous.

  2. Great videos! you are very talented! Might need a torch in WNC(aka the rust belt) Keep up the good work and helping all those folks out! Wish you were in my town!!!

  3. Can you get one of those portable tents or umbrellas to block the sun while you’re working?
They have those suction cup ones that connect to the cars like the PDR guys use.

  4. Look up redbacks boots, a few brands make the style but they’re fire service boots that don’t have laces, they’re slip ons and the fire service brands are pretty spendy but they’re bullet proof, protective, and comfortable

  5. Redwings boots I work in hvac and have had the same pair of redwings for 5 years and haven’t even had to resole them yet plus the most comfortable boots I’ve warn you can choose any style that fits what you like I believe they had non steel toe options but I have the toe in mine and they are still super light boots

  6. Also. Check out harbor freights tie rod tool. I've got the old school one like you in the video, and theirs. It's got a crows foot style wrench on a sleeve as the tool and it slides over the inner tie rod so you dont have to worry about the limited space and trying to fit a ratchet or dealing with loosening and tightening the one.

  7. Bro I've changed the subframe on my 15' Jetta Sport and i did it solo, in a street lol. Shop is smoking crack if they think thousands period. Steering rack had to drop with it, control arms, lower trans mount. Was a hell of a job but good learning experience.
