  1. The chamber attached to the idler gear is actually a spinning centrifuge for crankcase breathing. It's a really good idea to inspect inside the breather hose port on the front of the timing cover with a borescope camera before bolting the cover on. That will ensure the reverse mounted seal on the inside of the cover isn't pinch rolled on the centrifuge. Ask me how I know.

  2. Alex, bro. Your videos give me faith in considering purchasing a m156 based car with 100k miles .

What do you advise I check when at the dealership looking at one ? I know it’s hard to do much inspecting , but if you have any tips for me , shoot ! Cheers 🍻

  3. I got a question hopefully you can help me out. I have a 2011 C63 P31. Well apparently i removed the valve covers and found out i have the old style headbolts. I ended up removing the bolts and found out 1 of them failed and wasn't even tight. After replacing headbolts one at a time. When i was installing the cams back into place one of the buckets looks like it also failed same area the bolt failed. I can push down on the bucket ever so slighting and it moves down. Would this be a sign that the bucket has failed as well? I also swapped a good bucket from a different location and it didn't move at all. I order a couple new buckets as they are very expensive.

  4. You have made so many mistakes , just with cleaning the sealing surfaces and applying sealant .. there is sealant paths in the workshop material. Never use more than just a sealant cleaner and NEVER NEVER smush the sealant .

  5. You are doing the best maintenance as supposed
    Like an airplane engine
2 points though First is the cam gears need to be replaced with the cam chain
Second the head studs goes after you put the head because of metal save cause of the thread's
If im doing it wrong please advise
You are a legit car guy and from my knowledge you are the only one
Please more content eill be highly appreciated
