  1. Yeah so with the FP manifold, you wanna get 12pt bolts. People hate on the ARP bolts, I think they're doing something wrong though because I have mine on and off all the time for maintenance and stuff and the only time one broke is when someone else did it (used 1/2" drive on the left one which doesnt fit properly)

The exhaust housing crack is pretty common, I'd just get ahold of FP and see if they'll sell you a new one. I sold one for like $120 bucks awhile back also, so they're out there.

Also the copper is probably going to burn away, I tried it for the o2 outlet and it just turned to ash. The steel gaskets seem to work the best for the turbo/o2

  2. Just finished my 1g Talon TSI (same thing as a eclipse GSX) i even put the front eclipse light on it because imo it looks better, but the talon has a better body. It’s got a FP RED turbo and makes 550 at 2700 lbs. she’s fun!

  3. As usual, you are having a ball, busted knuckles, cuts, burns and all! Jumping around the seasons threw me for a loop, tho. I had watched the intercooler installation in warm weather, and the next was the new turbo in winter! I got it all under control now, uh-huh…😂

  4. The FP-Green is the best, not small not large but just right for quick spool and solid power. My talon TSI 4G63 had titanium valve springs, lifters and retainers, stock head and stock bottom. Open exhaust, larger injectors, E85 tune, dynoed 518hp at the wheels.

  5. WRONG! There was a point in time I had three 3000GT VR4's (at the same time)….no such thing as a "strong and stable DSM" 😉 ..happenstance, I am the reason for the Xfer case recall, I was on I90 near Elgin when one seized at about 60mph…..Gotta love Getrag.

  6. Hi Alex. This is Marcio, from Brazil. I have one of those here in Brazil. Used for years in Track days – lots of fun – 500 HP on the wheels. Recently they close the race track in my city and I am bringing the car back to “street legal”… the problem is that I cannot get the idle right. Can you share the “twin tunes” contact? Thanks

  7. I had an FP Green turbo on my old SRT-4. FP made them from the Mopar Stage 3 integrated turbo manifold kits. Ported/machined compressor & turbine housing with a 49 lb/min compressor, upgraded turbine, and the center cartridge from the actual Evo/DSM FP Green.

  8. What a nostalgic video … I daily drove a '96 GST from '02 to '08. Bone stock stock when I got it. Installed intake, cast header, Walbro 255 + relay, and a manual boost controller. Turbine wheel broke off the stock turbo (weird failure … lots of rattling, no smoke and no power) so I had it rebuilt with bigger wheels. Never got really attached to it though since I barely fit at 6'1", it was FWD only (traction and wheel hop limited), and it was an automatic (probably the worst automatic I've ever put up with).
