In this video, my DeLorean breaks and turns into a mechanics nightmare. This repair isn’t for the faint of heart so if you’re not experienced don’t try this at home. You can run the risk of drilling into the cylinder head!

Are you going to get a new frame for your dream car
i had a 1985 Oldsmobile Toronado Caliente…136 horsepower..but it drove so great
yup yup…love ur DeLorean !!!
i am sooo blown away at how many things you are having to replace…omg…everything has gone bad…wow
back in the day..huey lewis was one of my favorites…i still listen to back in time in my suv….the late 70s and 80s were such a great time….
I have a 2002 Ford Focus Mk1 with 1.6L engine. Not a fast car by all means, but amazing to drive, handles great 😃
My old Pontiac Fiero at sixteen thought it was a Ferrari😂😂😂
Hello Alex. Do you know if there is a Willwood rear brake kit that has an external parking brake in 4 x 114.3?
its amazing how much better the Delorean stainless is than the Cybertruck lol
I learned to drive on a 1974 Fiat 124 Sport Coupe. My sister and I thrashed the clutch as new drivers, but it was fun and peppy without being very powerful. I'd love to find one that needs a little (or a lot!) of Alex TLC.
Man. All that effort and time and money is dedication and love. End result is basically a quirky looking base Camry. Maybe a Nissan Sentra
Hillman imp 975cc
Needs an LS swap!!!
WHILEEE were in there let's just go ahead and replace everything but the engine. 😂 JK I LOVE your videos! Haha
Always use red thread locker on threadserts
2002 Honda Accord is comfortable
BRITOOL are the same quality as SNAPON.
Wasn't it easier to take a whole engine off from a body and restore? Or it is much more pain to do so…but congratulations for such passion, quite inspiring for classic car afficionado. BTW steering wheel has not adjusted lol
dude every mech knows to always use brake fluid on rusted bolts.
Let's look at the bright side of things. With how difficult it is to remove the exhaust, you'll never have to worry about getting your catalytic converter stolen on your DeLorean!!!
Found that part you are missing on o'riley autospares – part# 121g.
Back in the 1980s I had a 1976 Volvo 264GL with the PRV engine. It was just the _worst_: Leaked oil, the valvetrain ran dry, the distributor bushings burned out (likely because they too weren't getting oil) and it was gutless. Interestingly, that engine was originally conceived as a V8 and so was given a 90-degree bank angle. But the fuel crisis of the early 70s meant they wanted a smaller, more efficient engine and so they lopped two cylinder off but left it with a 90-deg bank angle. Mine, being a first-gen, had the uneven firing intervals so it wasn't even particularly smooth.
This has been a fascinating journey following you on this restoration. Thank you for the amount of detail you go through.
Hey guys, just want to let everyone know, HEAT EXPANDS, so when they are heating up the bolt, it is expanding, making it harder to come out. Heat up AROUND the bolt so that metal expands and then hit the bolt with water so it shrinks. They were actually doing the complete opposite of how this procedure is supposed to be done. Just saying this bc I want everyone to be successful, including LSC !!!
Honda Civics Honda Del Sols and Acura integras handle like a dream
I want the BTTF DeLorean so bad ( the Nuclear reactor not MR FUSION..) with a real working Set depart and return time display and key pad actually functional and it has to be a manual ( id ont care if it has origonal parts or engine and trans ( ill take a better power plant V8 ( 500 HP or better)
Love the car and really enjoying your video's! Thank you so much for your enthusiasm in them, makes all the difference!
Just one little thing that would make it perfect 🙈 is it technically possible to get the steering wheel lined up straight when the wheels are straight?
Again another video with the right level of wrench usage. Great!
Olds Cutlass supreme, that thing is so slow but so soft. Very enjoyable video man! Thank you
Man I can't believe how nightmarish it was to work on early injection engines. Had a Lotus Esprit SE 1991 and the thing was pretty much a nightmare on every project you'd do on it, but this deLorean really takes the cake
I'm 42 and still use 95% air tools. Impacts are strong and last so long, drills, grinders and most other tools are smaller and lighter when aired. Also, no battery depleting and keeping smaller of a charger over time, the tool pretty much lasts a lifetime when maintained. If you need a tool for a very rare uses/jobs, you can also get a cheap air one, that is much cheaper than battery-powered and will also last you decades
The worst car ever built 😂😂😂
Thanks for keeping the part where you battle with the bolts, because that's real life mechanics.
My 2013 JSW TDI is very fun to drive, doesnt have much more HP than the DeLorean
Whats the curb weight with all that stainless steel on the body?
i cant believe you did all that and left those rusty ass freeze plugs in and not replace them with brass plugs
Did Mr O'Neal ever reach out for his wrench?
Getting there with it pal, very enjoyable series
