  1. Thank you 🙏 for the education on this car. Many people have been tempted by the amount of cheap older performance cars available and very few have the actual intelligence aptitude to finish them. Really enjoying your content and perseverance. Keep being a reputable mechanic and enthusiasts. Very refreshing

    Remedy

Please check the spark plug gap. The spark plug gap information (1.0 … 1.1 mm) in DAS for all M275/M285 engines is incorrect. The correct spark plug gap for M275/M285 engines (ME2.7.1 & ME2.7.2) is 0.7 mm.

This correction should be implemented as of 01/2009 DAS release.

  3. Hello master auto technician. A massive hello from England. Maybe you have some issues with camshafts. And give you all this trouble……. I don't know just guessed

  4. I always use red locktite when using those helicoils. The can pull out pretty easily. I prefer the carbon thread in inserts that use small pins to lock them in place. Those never come back out

  5. I think the porblem is the ecu, either its parameters are too strict or it could be damaged/worn out. I think upgrading it to a better and a fully customizable one would be the solution.

  6. Alex- owner of several 65 AMG cars here. There is a Mercedes tsb for the m275 engine regarding a electrical connector resistance causing multiple misfires. Sounds like a worthwhile check given your issue.

    Hope it helps.
