49:56 they still make the tape I use it at work for circuit board maskinging when we coat them with sealant
Now I'm going to have to keep an eye out for one of these too. I'm offended.😅
Anyway, what an amazing turnaround for this car.
Dude I love this stuff so much. Makes me happy.
Uhhh, alright 😀
BUY A J35 AND A FULLY REBUILD IT PLEASEEEEE!!!!
I just discovered your videos and i have to say i love them. This cutlass looks amazing! I drive and have done extensive work on a 1991 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo. I love that car and its my daily driver. I mention it because i suspect not many people know of them and they had a premium option that included what they called the VIC. Stands for vehicle information center. It was a CRT touch screen that controlled the radio and ac as well as showed info and diagnostics info about the car. If you ever get the chance to see one check it out i feel like more people should know about them.
"This is not your father's Oldsmobile!" OK. maybe it IS your father's Oldsmobile, now.
I really enjoy your teaching style!
Did you want to throw that "silver confetti" in the air? Or eat some of that silver "cotton candy"? 1:02:25
Great video, love all the cars especially the SHO!
In 91 the SHO was faster than the Vette.
I kinda miss my 95 sho
I kinda miss my 95 sho
That's not what it stands for, it stands for.
4 wheels, 4 seat, 2 door.
Check hard before removing the 442
I didn't like the rims. But now they look amazing.
Your enthusiasm is infectious making this 76 yr old feel like a teenager again. I enjoy all your videos. Keep up the excellent work. :))))
quad 442 is a cutlass calais thing
Love it. I had a 94 Pontiac Grand Am Quad4 2.3L with 5 speed manual. That car surprised so many people.
The silly racing at the end really made me smile. I used to have a SHO. Not very fast by today's standards but it was fun to drive and it was a good highway cruiser.
Nice job. You keep saying $3K but the work you put into it would likely cost another $4K unless someone has a well equipped shop. Still would be a pretty good bargain. I enjoyed the video. Thanks
Alex, did you AND your editor both miss it? Or maybe over there in Chicago the expression is slightly different than it is here in California. 🤷♂haha.
So @35:57… did anybody else catch what Alex said wrong?
"Worth it's money in gold"
Huh? Ummm, what? lol.
I think the proper way that 'ol saying goes is "Worth it's WEIGHT in gold", but whatever. I'm sure most of us knew what you meant.
Or am I wrong? lmk, thanx.
just a suggestion when you do blending use a heat gun right after painting and clear about a minute each and the bland will be much nicer low heat setting and get the area clean by using wax and grease remover every time paint is going on wipe it down twice.. you have great talent hope these suggestions help you out.
My mom had a 91. All white, all tan fabric… still my fav! Won my first race in that🤘
No gas cap 😂
True 90s would be the Beretta GTZ with the quad4 and 5 speed that's a race
Love this! I had a 92 teal metallic Grand Prix and loved it! Something about that excitement they built! Those 3.4x interference motors were among the worst ever built. Former service manager and can remember so many coming in on the hook because nobody ever did their timing belt maintenance on them. Alex, use your parking brake everyday or end up buying new calipers every year. Those w-body brake jobs (CPRx4) probably paid for my first mortgage!
So fuking stupid running in rain dumb fcks
