Small Huge Issue with the Frame Rails…

1. If you're going to do much of this kind of stuff, you need a portaband table and a bench shear

3. I'm all for everything happening here and it's nice to see another S30 owner with the ambition of hiding a V10 in these cars! Represent! 😀

   HOWEVER!
   shortening the wheelbase of the S30 is not ideal for multiple reasons. Though, given as many videos as you have already posted and me just finding out about this and binging it since yesterday; I get the feeling you may have realized this by now.

   BMW only packaged the car that way because of how big the engine is contrast to the little space it's been shoehorned into. Remember, that car was a family grocery car first, track spirit was an afterthought.
   The S30 body is a perfect candidate for a stellar mid-front setup just like Mercedes, Ferrari and Aston Martin etc.

   You obviously have the skill (and patience) to do all of this fab work, so why not figure it and do it 'right' (the 'right' way being subjective… I know :p )

9. This really does not make sense to me why is Chris just building the frame for the Datsun and then just modifying it to fit the BMW subframes?

24. Should probably add some triangulating to the those tower templates, surprisingly easy to tweak that metal, also maybe you'd consider reordering those rear hoops? Etc?

27. Our old shop had no windows. Got in the zone many times and got surprised by the sun coming up. That will beat you down for a few days. Keep it up can't wait to see this thing.
