I've had to deal with this exact scam multiple times over the last few years. For me it wasn't that big of a deal since I knew right from the get-go that it was a scam and that their threats of sending the FBI after me was just one more scare tactic that they thought might work. Even though I knew that nothing bad was going to happen to me or my family, I can sadly see why it could work.

I got a call like this last year… a car registered in my name had cash and narcotics in it. Knowing my son I’ve been to Texas a few times it struck my curiosity. Then they switched me to the FBI. 😮, asked for my social security #…. Told them that’s not happening and hang up

I know this wouldn’t be the right thing to do but I get so frustrated by how difficult it is to get any legal action taken care of. Sometimes I think someone needs to scam one these peoples relatives and they can see the hurt and pain they have caused their victims. But like I said I know that’s not right but like I said so frustrating that legal action is so hard to get accomplished
