Did the software start as a smartwatch ROM? Is that why it never wants to use touch control?
Love the design so much. The AI also response quite quickly 👌
I'm still not clear what this is useful for…
This thing seems pointless as you can just get a better smartphone for that price with many different variants of AI.
Why aren’t these so-called “AI devices†just an app on your phone? 😂
Again… whats the point if smartphones can do all of these? Its not innovation if u just create something and add 'ai' features…. heck, ur smartphones uses AI all the freakin time, also able to use AI assistant much like humane and or rabbit…. i really dont understand companies slapping 'AI' into some product thinking it is innovative and will be the "next smartphone"… like cmon, really? I dont see both products beong successful… even with the benefit of doubt about being their first product, either the technology isnt ready, or these products wont succeed as they are not viable replacements for smartphones… 🤷â€ÂÂ♂ï¸ÂÂ🤷â€ÂÂ♂ï¸ÂÂ
I will never buy something like this (as I have a smartphone since…oh 2011) but I have to say that it seems 1000x better then the humane pin, the tactile nature is perfect and appears enjoyable.
This is just a dumb client to a cloud service, except unlike the cloud-connected phone you already have, it has far inferior hardware. Who thought this was a good idea?
Too gimmicky. I'm not carrying this and my phone with an LLM around. And Humanes wearable is far from good. And Limitless is just a voice recorder. So, I'll just wait.
Companies like Apple would never make an universal app, because that would destroy the applestore business model for which Apple earns royalties from. Thats why it is so important that companies like Rabbit exist, to break away from the establishment who just want to scam more money from us without adding easy to use functionality for the consumer.
how boring and useless… and why? our phones smoke this thing, sans the 360 rotating camera (more boring uselessness)
Inb4 samsung integrates the bixby button again
I think it's not until they manage to put this in a more interactive form factor such as in a robot pet or something resembling a "companion" will the tech take off in the market
Why would we need extra hardware for this? Why not just use our smartphones?
Looking good!
What is that bubble on the screen (left side middle)? Saw it on iJustine's video as well, but somewhere else.
This did everything Humane did, but better and cheaper.
I pray for the day reviews stop mentioning fingerprints. Everything gets fingerprints, move on already.
What is the point if you already have a phone!
After the screen peel, there looks to be 3 air bubbles in the display on your unit. That would drive me nuts.
Dude wtf happened to android authority?? Why are they a rotating door of employees??
Discriminatory device with <FU oddballs> baked into the hardware, sign of the new era, nice /s.
98.2% of this video was just about the hardware. Looking forward to seeing it in action.
A mere 5 min. vid about an AI companion. Soooooooo, it's crap. Got it. (y)
No one needs an AI Beeper
Useless overpriced crap
I’m struggling to see what this does that the phone you already have doesn’t do. It’s a nice design but it is a companion device.
Hard pass!

I feel this is a much better thought out product compared to the AI pin. In the full review can you compare this to Gemini assistant in Pixel devices?
My GF has a battery powered rabbit but it doesn't look like this😂
What's this doing that any average smartphone isn't exactly? I mean what's this for?
This is the weirdest wave of technology I’ve ever seen. This might’ve been cool 10 years ago.
everthing they can do my 5 years old smartphone can do it better
They put so much thought into a product design and then they ignore a substantial percentage of the population who are lefties. Is the entire design team right handed? Why can't they make it ambidextrous? (sad)
My phone does more.
hear me out. Rabbit R1 as a AI powered museum guide! Thats an idea i can get behind!
