Retired master mechanic here.
Why do "emergency" kits all come with that exact set of tools? Ratchet, metric sockets, pliers, monkey micrometer (adjustable wrench), electrical tape, some sort of screw driver… What do they think you're fixing with that tool set and no spare parts (especially if you're an untrained average Joe)? A loose battery cable, maybe…but that's about it. My advice: ditch those tools and replace them with more first aide, road flares, a mylar blanket or something like granola bars…food that doesn't go bad. Speaking from experience, having a few granola bars in your emergency kit helps take the edge off while waiting for a tow truck.
Oh very nice Eric good deal
I want to see a challenge video where someone tries to actually do regular non-emergncy repairs lol it would be pretty fun to watch. Cool kit! Could definitely save someone's behind in a pinch.
No beer?
He sold out to Amazon…
Next to being a mechanic, I'm also a Retired Captain of the Fire Department, and that's a really good kit, satisfying both parts of my career trees, fun fact I started in culinary school first to be a Chef, and then after about a year or two went back to school to be a mechanic, then did volunteer fire, went back to School to get my EMT certification, then a Fire Academy, then into a career department, only to move and go into a volunteer department while working on cars now retired and cook for my family.
So that was to eliminate the confusion, when I say a lot of people don't know or understand why you would need to cut your seatbelt, and I'm pretty sure EC, you as a fellow Master Tech and Mechanic may know why, but after a car collision hard end to activate airbag, the return cylinder on the seatbelt rachet system blow a gas filament that stops the seatbelt from retracting and the added stresses on the release switch can cause it to lock in place.
Always felt automakers should put these window smashing seatbelt cutters in their cars like 4 of them in a spot accessable by the driver and all 4 passengers in say a sedan, or 2 in a truck and so on.
As you will have to cut the seatbelt off of you.
Most times it releases just fine.
Some cars have removable headrests that when pulled out, have two long spikes that insert in and attach to the seat, well if your airbag fails to deflate, you can remove your head rest and use its spikes to help pop and deflate the airbag. Just some Fun Fact Tuesday!
PS: the seatbelt not returning to rachet, is how police and fire rescue know if you were wearing your seatbelt or not after an accident, as not all are super dangerous but the airbags still deployed and the seat belts were locked say except 1 at an incident we went to years ago. When confronted with physical and video evidence she came clean, the passenger, and driver.
Alright, carry on, thank for reading and EC, thanks for the cool share, I'll go take a look at that kit.
Hope you can open up a new garage soon. Scotty Kilmer was saying in his last video saw on 4/16/24 that you were done making car video's. This is a good emergency kit.

Just be careful with the fuses, Amazon doesn't give a fuck about quality so you might have random fuse shaped pieces of plastic.
Looks like a dollar store haul.
Im embarrassed to say this but my son is surely in need of a kit like this. 😂😂😂
That’s awesome
