I’ve tried more than once to clean a catalytic converter. If it works, it can save you a TON of money. However, in my experience, it rarely works.
My reasoning for this is because if the material inside the catalytic converter flakes off and goes out your tailpipe, no amount of cleaning will bring it back.
What are your thoughts on cleaning catalytic converters?
