  1. Just wanted to say I love your channel and it inspired me with my 280 build that I'm gonna be doing and cant wait for the best thing is I wanted to paint my 280 the same color as your 240

  2. I've been watching this build series all afternoon. Great progress so far. Resisting the urge to skip ahead., can't wait to see it running and driving. I did see another video that you do make it to Sema but I've managed to avoid other spoilers so far.

  3. Where are you located, I just today found your channel by accident and have watched over 20 videos, subscribed, and followed you on IG as well. I like your work!

  4. I'm loving this series and learning a whole lot about chassis fabrication. I'm a fitter and turner from New Zealand so I'm used to pulling apart factory machinery and repairing it or making parts, not usually anything like this though. What I wanted to ask was 90.7" the distance from hub center to hub center of the 240 or was that just the dimension you worked out in the last video on the modelling software? I do alot of steel fabrication but this is something I've never done and I must admit I'm intrigued and curious.

  5. welding thick tubing into the frame rail as sleeves and using longer bolts that go through the top and bottom might be a good idea for rigidity.

  6. So I’ve noticed people suggesting doing a gofundme of sorts. And noting their high fees. If you’re interested in this, I work for a company that operates crowdspire.org. Our app fee is only 2% which is lower than almost everything out there, with credit card fees being at 2.9% + 0.30 which is standard. I’m a software engineer on the project and I’d be very glad to work with you on it!

I’ve been following you for awhile now, and I’ve been very impressed with your work! I’d hate to see a large portion of your donations go to YouTube.

  7. Go ahead and add it. I dont think it will detract from your channel. Those who want to support will use it, those who don't want to wont, and those who want to complain will just complain about the opposite of whatever you do.

  8. Chris, great build and content!! Take a break and get some SUN brother. Those arms are twilight. 😂
