Pixel 8 Pro vs. Galaxy S23 Ultra: Can PRO beat ULTRA?!

1. Samsung always has great specs and hardware, but it all comes down to the software and algorithms of the apps. Which the Pixel beats Samsung hands down. I went from a UltraS21 to Pixel Pro8. What a difference in camera capture accuracy. We typically use our phones now for its camera and social media. And google has done some great work in that space.

4. Pixel 6 and 7 Have problems with mobile and wifi connection such as Low signal and drop connections in low signals arias, compare other company including Iphone and Samsung S phones . Pixel 8 have same weak Samsung modem, poor design antenas and probably same connectivity issues. Unfortunately Google doesn't want or can't recognise and fix this problem. 5. Samsung users give Apple users a run for their money when it comes to hoighty-toity-fanboiedness. Relax, the Pixel 8 pro is a great phone, and that's A-OK.

19. I tried the Pixel 8 Pro and I have to say that the Ultra remains the best phone in the Android world. It has a much better feel in the hand, it feels very premium. The Pixel has a good build but the back feels cheap. I also prefer the Samsung software. Overall there is just no comparison. I set up the 8 Pro and while doing this it became hot. I never experienced this on my S23, unless I really tried to push it. The major drawback of the 8 Pro is the basic launcher (the S23 has much better launcher), the mediocre speakers and the bad battery life and CPU efficiency.

20. You talk about Pro(fessional, right) use. Tell us the S-Pen is gimmicky and of limited use, and then decide the S23 Ultra is the better phone for Professionals? Huh? 21. I always find it strange thay nome of the phone reviews measure phone signal in db or cell handover. If you are luck some might talk about speaker/ mic quality

22. As someone that tries to cook at a professional level at home, I have a bulky laser temp gun that gets daily use. If the twmp sensor on that phone works as fast and reliably, I could see myself using it alot

24. In display fingerprint sensor aren't the same. Samsung has a more advanced ultrasonic scanner than the pixel's optical one which is a bit slow

25. Went into Vodafone to check out the Google pixel 8 pro they have the demo unit on display and my god that selfie camera is horrible I hope it’s just because it’s a demo unit, anyone here have a pixel 8 pro? What’s the selfie camera like for you?

27. Although 7 year's promise is a big plus point but you cant trust google which is notorious to scrap their promise within one year. Samsung is the undisputed king of Android and i just love my s23 ultra.

33. I liked Samsungs Android version so much that I wiped it within a week and installed the pixel android version.

    Samsungs is bloated and lacks the basic quality features pixels have. its also way more sluggish and laggy.

36. Google Pixel 8 Pro is quite a big step up from the Pixel 7 Pro. Very Impressive

38. Pixels aren't designed to beat anything. Its just a vessel for them to trot out their software with. They are 3 years behind the rest of the industry in all areas outside camera performance and software. If you already like Samsung you're buying the Ultra, and the S23U is a phenomenal phone. This is being typed on a Pixel 8 Pro BTW.

41. It is not. I got Pixel 8 pro and it felt like a downgrade from S22 U. I refunded and went with S23 Ultra. With One UI 6 and Flat screen on upcoming S24 U, it should be the best phone around.

    Pixel 8 pro complaints:
    1. Display looks pretty cheap compared to Samsung

    2. Front camera is poor, absolutely poor compared to any other high end models of android
