  1. It's very disappointing that Samsung is going more into "UI for myopic people" direction, especially with much more distinct "wasted space" between individual UI elements.

  2. no, this is not BIG, this is hardly worth mentioning. i wouldnt even notice it right away if someone would update my fone. those updates get more and more redundant.

  3. I still use Microsoft Launcher, for a few obvious features:
    – change app icons
    – rename app names
    – place an icon at any grid
I wish the One UI adding above features ….

  4. I’m liking the rigid and defined look of the quick settings control panel, very nice. For reachability's sake, this is a slight downgrade, but I still think its way more functional now

  5. I think this is a downgrade, for me, at least. Most of the changes are barely changed. Maybe I wouldn't even notice, i don't mind a change for a font, but the biggest disappointment for me is the quick setting panel. One UI is supposed to be able to operate your phone one handed easily, now they have decided to put most of the toggles way up top, making it harder to reach. And yeah, most toggles on samsung phones have that mini menu thing since android 7 if you tap on the text below the icon. I really hope you can still do this with the majority of toggles in One UI 6, but I'm not sure.

  6. Hey, you cut your hair.👩🏻‍🦲

  7. If you use Google maps daily don't install it. There's a bug if you leave navigation and come back it's just a white screen. I've tried pretty everything, as far as troubleshooting

  8. So, all in all, new font, moving clock wherever we want, quick menu that won't be as easy to reach as before and spacing between notifications. Well, nice job Samsung. All jokes aside, I wish they put more effort in polishing the camera software. Cameras are easily the worst part of Samsung phones for years now. Using S23U since it's release – nothing has changed. Shutter lag, weird color grading/HDR, awful night mode, choppy videos, unpredictable results – all issues are as present as on my first S7 edge. You can take a pic of the Moon but moving subjects (pets, kids…) – it still ends up blurry and unusable. On flagship device. In 2023. How is that acceptable ?
I'm done with Samsung, their "it will be fixed with software update" lies (my S23U performance is the same, after 6 months and many updates, as it was with out of the box software) and halfbaked "buy this but you won't believe what we prepared for next year" devices that lose their value very fast. I can fully understand people who switched to other brands (and judging by numbers of S23 series devices being sold, a LOT of users said goodbye to Samsung)

  9. Tbh I'm sick of waiting for it I'm starting to not like the beta videos it takes too long why not at the start of the video give a release date if able 10000000 on beta UI is bonkers

OCTOBER 2023 IS THE RELEASE DATE*
