Trying to DIY fix my Aston Martin ended up costing me an EXTRA $2,000

4. I'd look into blowby/crankcase pressure if your rear main one piece seal actually popped out.

5. RTV that damn thing in, should have never fell out if it was seated and flush? $hit happens.

7. I rebuilt an F20C in my old S2000…put the rear main seal in backward 😫

8. Try some head gasket sealer you seem to use it in every vehicle 😂😂😂 but so true.

9. Always always always Permatex the outer rim of the rear main seal so there’s at least some between the ribs. If it’s not a ribbed seal you can use a Q-tip tip stem to spread permatex in the cavity also, it helps to keep it extra thin.
