When a company claims a product for coding, I'm always highly skeptical. I believe they don't test the product on actual coders. LG fails with its vertically stacked monitors that is actually a tension on the neck unless you sit higher than usual because you need to be able to read more up and down, not just up. This could be similar, but as a laptop form factor, the screen shouldn't be as high. Still, it needs testing from actual coders.

Wide screen is only good to watch videos, tall screen is good for everything else
We were warned to say no to vertical videos. WE WERE WARNED.
I would love this for work, the speed doesn't bother me. I don't think in practice I'll be switching between the two modes often enough for it to be an issue.

I would love it if the final product has a aspect ratio selector to have it maybe roll out in quarter steps. Otherwise, i'm very impressed and it seems like a better choice than the fold
