or you can get a face protector
Its Car Justin Roiland again 😀 just joking love your content haha
09:16 – listen at 50% speed. You're welcome.
11:04 top left, y is there a mannequin head
Just slide your subframe over to see if it matches up with the host be the best way to do it
I agree with chop over band, another tool you don't seem to have but would probably use a bit is an air nibbler (Google it)… love these shows, keep up the good work….
You sir are a legend. Keep up the good work. You're inspiring me to get off my lazy ass and get my project back into gear😅ðŸ‘ÂÂ
loving the content on the channel I don't wanna be that guy but as a welder it erks me to see ppl not prep a surface they are welding especially a frame for a expensive car keep up the great content
Use welding gloves and it won’t seem so hot 😉
I wonder,. did you weld the seem on the frame behind the side plate reinforcement, before you welded that on?
Seriously need an "It's Angle Grinder Time" BIFB T-shirt, Chris.
Your welds have gotten a lot better!
I think your weld will be nicer if you kept your arms/elbow holding the torch closer to your abs..less movement means less gaps between the ripples..
and how the hell did this video hit my subbox 55 minutes ago? wtf youtube, 4 days after, it was weird to me cuz i already saw your video of building strut towers
10:50 i hope i explain it well, so you're talking about those nubs/pertrutions that you want to weld to subframe mounts, how about to cut the metal with hole 10:52 with same diametar as hole at the side facing https://prnt.sc/jeez7o , so you can slide it towards frame rails, and then you will be able to weld metal tubing to mounts, and slide it to frame rails and weld it all together, sry english is not my first langauge.. hope you at least get the idea of what I am thinking of :/
that joint needs to have a slug put in the frame and then put gusset ot the outside im just saying
A Makita chop saw with a metal blade is way cheaper than a band saw and will cut through that steel like butter. 😎
Hi Chris, I am in no way a pro when it comes to scratch builds. Just one concern, by just welding the ends of the strengthening plates might not be good enough, you need to have holes in the plates that you can weld in as well to spread the stress out over more welding, just google chassis strengthening plates and you will see what I mean
Get a belt sander from Alex Steel
Get some Milwaukee power tools. Sick of seeing corded tools haha
You are building a whole car in way less time than it took Kyle Reese to just build a wide body kit

Bruh this channel went from only installing widebody to building a fucking frame ._.
Bifb #1 loving this build!
My favourite show ! This build is gonna be awesome !
