You Floridians are something else when the going gets tough you guys just get going so good to see everyone come together to help. we had floods here in Queensland Australia about 10 years ago everyone was out helping strangers clean out there houses and the streets it was amazing I remember getting choked up I was so proud of my fellow queenslanders I wish you all a speedy recovery

10. the company I work for does disaster relief and recovery, we've got guys running around like crazy down there and I'm stuck in mississippi doing day to day work, as a native Floridian it's absolutely killing me that they haven't sent me in yet.

12. Haven’t been through a Hurricane but I’ve dealt with tornadoes. Makes you feel horrible for the people involved and the animals.

14. It saddens me that the scammers will attempt to take advantage of adverse weather events to steal money from people who are trying to help others. Even well known legit charities are guilty of this behaviour.
    In Australia the Red Cross was caught out for claiming to raise funds for disaster relief of a flood or fire or cyclone and actually just banked all the funds raised and handed out nothing to the victims and made pathetic excuses for their behaviour. One of the worse scams is climate change. The climate change alarmists deny that climate change is natural and has been happening long before man even discovered fire yet they will claim this storm was the result of man made climate change while even the IPCCC say there’s absolutely no evidence or indications that any weather events are caused by man, in fact adverse weather events have been less common and less severe than those of the past.

16. Whoever built that building doesn't know to much about construction, your not supposed to have all the 2×4 perling boards land on the same truss. They should have been staggered. It didn't look like they installed any hurricane clips either attaching the rim boards to the columns or trusses.

17. You may have noticed the astrovan in 4’ of water, that was also a rescue vehicle as they do not get stuck or stranded

33. This is in regards to why the Pavilion collapsing. There was no cross (X) bracing at all from support pole to pole. Also, the roof purlins weren't staggered at all. Lastly, hurricane anchors weren't used. That's just what I can see from the videos.
