Our Honda K24 Swapped Jet Boat Is Nearly Complete! (Just Needs a Turbo)

1. It might be interesting to find out if Cleetus still has one of those little electric Turbos and throw on there to see what happens, did not take much fab work.

2. Thoughts on making a hoop that wraps over the bucket connecting to the drive guards?

3. Put two DC fans on the front of the seats console sucking fresh air in to the engine bay and a welded cover over the openings and at the bottom the in let have the ecm cycle one before start up two running at full stick .Small engine with turbo in an engine room should be at positive pressure for cooler intake temperature it will do more then just this . This will solve lots of problems you MAY have down the track.

10. Do one of the vent fans in and one out because your gonna starve ur engine outt air unless u put a pipe to above the seat

11. The blower must draw air from the lowest point! ( where the vapors settle)

    The fan is an outlet and depending on how well the cover fits you may choke the engine out.

    We did it on a boat years ago and it took ages to work out why it would run a few mins then stop but run well with the cover up.

    I doubt there is enough room around your exhaust exit

15. Go to the junk yard and pull one of those Ko3 turbos off a Jetta 1.8T

20. Just put a fire wall and a trunk on the boat, those people are gonna cook sitting in the back on a metal seat on top of an engine… that will eventually be turbo, and could explode even, 🤷‍♂️ idk

21. Check out some sort of door seals, for your motor bay, and some latches to keep it down and sealed.

27. The bilge fan needs to have a hose to the bottom of the bilge as gas fumes are heavier than air and fumes can still accumulate there potentially causing explosion.

29. I'd highly suggest getting those bash bars on. Simple project, and will be so worth it. Love the K swap jet boat!

33. I would probably put a secondary bilge pump, one that you can trigger with a switch… Maybe like some sort of high flow unit, in case you get swamped or buried..

34. That 12 volt fan is the exact type I would feed air to my Simpson Voyager sidewinder helmet when I raced NASCAR super late model cars.
