  1. Outdated, in the newest version of Google Maps, you can download a selection of an area from either around your house or the entire city . Just go to "Offline areas" then click the "+" button.

  2. if there is no near landmarks = in maps search for "Ok Maps" or "okmap", so it saves an offline map without any land marks!

  3. Used to work in Slovakia… since the huge update it doesn't… same with searching in restaurants atc. …Google Fail.
