Hello I just bought the LG G3. In the stock messaging app that came with my phone, there is a huge blank space text area that I can't seem to minimize to see more of the conversation. Do you know a way?

I just got the phone last night.  My old phone was a flip phone, so it is a radical change for me.  I still like the old rotary dial phone that I grew up with in the '60's and '70's.  Seven rings means no one is home.  And Messaging!:  You write out a message, and tape it on the front door of their house.  Much easier than any Smart Phone can provide.
The good phone and Features, But the design and The back button are the same as the Moto E and X.
When i record something on the lg i can barely see it on the phone because its too dark :/ is there a way to solve that?
Just ordered this beauty….had a little play with it in my local mobile phone store and it's a joy.
Just bought this fone and it is terrific.
Why do they keep calling the phones screen quad HD? the screen is only a 2K display, not 4K. The oppo 7's 2K screen looks much better in every way & doesn't have the washed out color look that the G3 screen has, it's the same resolution & PPI yet it's a 2K screen. Is LG unaware of this?
