7. 1980’s. Star Trek convention. Minneapolis…but at a Hotel. Small venue. Lt.Uhura would appear. Neat! Folding chairs..maybe about 30-50 people. It was a kinda nerdy thing….but we had to go. Mostly a venue to sell Star Trek memories and of course..toys…phasers. Models…and other sci fi classics too. A geek convention. So we enjoyed it. Nichole was very friendly…and talked a good hour. We asked everything. Is Shatner a jerk? Did you really talk to Dr.Martin Luther….and it was he that told her…not to quit the series..that she was a role model….she took it to heart. She said…”Bill” was joker…fun to work with. And Leonard was the serious one….also fun to work with. Deforest Kelly…made her the most relaxed. He was….everyone’s gentleman. A calming presence. As Gene Roddenberry was…..under a lot of pressure. He too..could be charming….but he was moody as well. She felt very lucky….and just realizing her impact on fans. And all the story’s…..made touring very fun. She enjoyed these………Star Trek conventions. Went to another…Star Trek convention years later. Minneapolis again….and this time it was…Kirk n Spock. Huge crowd. Hundreds…..never got close. The geek get together had become very popular……….lots of dressed up people. Not so much that first time. Good memories. RIP. She was very warm. You could see she just loved to interact. Doubt she got paid much. Again….very Nice!

10. I have great memories from her attendance at Creations conventions. She and James were very friendly and gave us a lot more time than they were scheduled for. She sang a song once.

11. Rest in peace Queen. You will be surely missed.
