pretty accurate
I hate Samsung, LG, and iPhone, but damn that s8 looks beautiful.
dont need and dont use the finger scanner, hope they remove it altogether
having the fingerprint sensor on the back is actually a really good spot. I have the LG V20 and my index finger is always resting in or around that area. it's definitely a different spot and takes getting used to but is very convenient.
THE FINGERPRINT PLACEMENT ON THE S8 BOTHERS ME VERY MUCH
S8 better be better than S7 hahahaha
Top 3 three overrated things about smartphones:
1. 4K
2. Fingerprint Scanner
3. Curved Screens.
what about the Tab S3?
it would be cool if the finger print sensor would be in the power button
We need s8 ACTIVE to be WORLD WIDE not for AT&T , what a stupid decision from samsung, can you send this message to samsung.
I got a phone with a supposedly similar size to the s8 but I can reach that area of the phone (where the fingerprint sensor is) perfectly fine.
I have … creepy .. long scary fingers 😢
I am very concerned about the fingerprint scanner, the location is so wrong and the shape of it is just not pretty, and it could be a deal breaker for me
why is no one even considering that the fingerprint sensor could be on the power button (think sony had a phone with one on the power button) and even without that, we've just forgotten completely about the onscreen fingerprint sensor ://
My index finger falls to the left of the camera when I hold my phone in my left hand, which is what I do since I'm right handed. The FS is actually in the right spot, but for me that would be a left-handed phone!! I wish that hadn't gone down this path!
If they put the fingerprint sensor there the camera might get fingerprints
Beautiful
Android
no home button=nosale
Concerned? It has made me have nightmares, Jayce. I was so pumped about the design of the s8 but the placement of the fingerprint scanner has me disappointed. I'm very picky about these small details and even sold off my s7 edge coz it failed to recognise my fingerprint just 2 times out of 10. I want the absolute best if I'm paying top dollar for it. I was hoping the s8 scanner would be better since it was being rumoured that it was going to be embedded in the display. It seems Samsung wants to make people use the iris scanner by trying to push out the fingerprint scanner out of the s8, quite literally as it appears in the renders. They either bring a kickass iris scanner which doesn't require the two additional steps of waking up the phone and swiping up on the lock screen, or bring the fingerprint scanner in the display or somewhere on the front or I'm not gonna buy it. Plain and simple.
galaxy s8 with finger print in the back sucks ! i don't like the idea ! if will be like that i will not buy the next galaxy s8 🙂
when is coming s8 who's know date
Why are people hating on tjhe scanner (whatever it's for) spot? Try to reach it on your phone (left from camera) and then try to reach under the camera. The spot is much better than under the camera like what are you complaining about?? Sucks for left handed people ofc.
apple remove earphone jack and samsung remove fingerprint, and next year blackberry will remove blackberry massager.
