Just a theory of what may have caused this absolutely terrible accident. Sudden engine failure or somebody flying a UAV or drone and destabilizing the rotors. I want to help anyway I can. I love my community
Rest in peace. Prayers with the family and loved ones

who are the people working on these helicoptors, lots of helicoptors crashing recently…
Wonder what bad things they did for God to punish them like this.

Based on the data and location I'm going to guess they may have been screwing around prior to the crash. The crash was near the top of a 7600+ foot mesa, just west of a near 1000 foot cliff. Based on the ADS-B data their altitude was relatively steady and would have given them nearly 500 feet of clearance. Roughly two minutes before the crash they rapidly descended to treetop level and stayed there for a full minute at near full forward speed.
I suspect they were "having some fun" flying low over the trees with the intention of the cliff dropping out below them as that would be a pretty spectacular sight. Either the clearance was misjudged, or more likely the pilot couldn't out climb the terrain because of the hot temps and altitude. I also just saw a still photo of the wreckage and it was defiantly a high speed impact.
I could be wrong but so far the data, terrain, and photo suggest they may have been screwing around on the way to the fire.
Who cares. People die everyday.
