Here is a short video showing how to easily replace a front wheel bearing without a press or slide hammer. In my view, this is the easiest way to replace a wheel bearing.
This video features a 2003 Honda Pilot, but the procedure will work for most pressed in wheel bearing assemblies.
Below are links to the tools used. FYI, you can often rent a Hub Grappler from your local auto parts store. Not sure if they would have the Quick Race tool though.
Thank you for watching!

Hey Eric nice to see you back.
That quick race tool is neat. Use of heat on the inner race is really smart made that easy.
All went really easy, really quick. That outer race did not put up any fight coming out.
Hats off from a fellow tech and follower.
Great to see you again Eric!
WooooHooooo, good to see you back Eric!
Huh.. heat to expand the inner race and drop. Ive always followed how Eric did it in his past videos and cut a notch, then split it with a chisel. But this seems much easier. Will have to try it out next time
Great surprise! Have you thought about YouTube shorts? At least temporarily? Might be a great way to keep viewers engaged and find new ones.
Welcome back ETCG!
Glad to see you back in here spinning wrenches!ðŸ‘ÂÂ
Love seeing Eric missed your videos watching from South Africa
Great to see your videos again Eric. You got the hub grappler at work again. I remember you using that on the Nissan in the fixing it forward series.
Notice the chrome socket on the end of the impact gun.
Finally!!! Welcome back man!
Oh man! You make it look easy! It took me like 3 hours to do one side on my Honda crv! Always is nice to see your videos.
seems easy with right tools
Welcome back Eric.
Yay! Missed you man.
Love my bolt in VW hubs. The ABS tone ring rots off the thing before the bearing goes out. Quick job to bolt in new ones.
Talk about a day brightener!! Glad to see you again sir.!
Shh, No words. You don't need to say anything.

Wooo!!! My guy glad to see you back!! Hopefully more to come!!!
Eric is back I see great been missing some honda/acura fixes good to see ya
You should have press the bearing via outer race and not inner race ….
The right tools are key.
That snap right is a bastard sometimes.
Nice to see you back, someone worth watching, thanks
Awesome Eric! 😄
Eric, great to hear from you! Great, quick video! Oreilly rents a similar type of tool for any of your fans that have a front wheel bearing to replace. Easiest ever! Hope you are staying clean.
Very cool!
Yay. He’s back.
I once changed a wheel bearing using just a hammer and a big vise. First removed all the knuckle, got it into the vise tightly, and hammered all the stuff out of it. I thought I was going to need a big 5kg hammer, but the 1kg one did the job more than perfect. I drove in new parts the same way, making sure to not ruin the bearing in the process. And it worked really fine.
$651 for that tool! Yikes bro, I guess Ill continue the other ways. Nice to see a video tho.
It's hard going to Kings Island, passing your old shop, and not honking the horn – with the hopes that you might be filming a video and have to edit the beep out ! Stay dirty my friend.
