All the way.
I've actually been on the fence about clydes but now that I see it, I've ordered.
I think Hoovie just went through this with either the Car Wizard or Euro Nation Bob. They "converted" the top to manual, I think.
Definitely your worst video ever.
Keep it authentic because it is a ferrari and Keep it lagic.
Surprised the Lucas Oil Hydraulic Stop Leak fluid didn't make an appearance here first
7 hydraulic pumps to operate a soft top? Yeesh. I thought the Germans and French were bad with their Rube Goldberg systems.
I saw a F360 coupe in this color yesterday. In person that blue is pretty sharp.
So, this video is essentially a commercial for Clydes.
Hoovie made his one lift by hand,no more fuckery.
Hi Sam! Might I ask where you sent the hydraulic piston to get rebuilt? Cheers!
I’m sure there has to be an aftermarket option for those cylinders
The balm and deglazer are about $30 each on Amazon.
Sam, just remove the top altogether, and sell it as a roadster to someone in a location where it doesn't a lot…
Make it manual FTW
I think you need to give this car to step mum as a thank you
Are you going to finish any projects.
OMG Sam just go manual…. not worth the money and time… that roof is so light and easy to put up and down.. you won't recoup the money you are going to invest
I’d go manual top right away. How often will you drive it, take the top down, and how long does it really take to put down?
It's a Ferrari, go all the way and then sell it to the next sucker.
it will make the car super reliable…for at least the next 6 to 12 months ahahahahaha. another solid video sam
Sam…. u may still have mould in the air ducts…. u never touched the duct work.
One thing I've learned from YouTube is that after 4 years Ferrari is junk.
Who said to use a balm? -Do you even know what a balm is?
Why not strip the cylinders and replace the seals. Not as though the cylinder rods are exposed to grit to be scored.
"Working for now " yes, yes indeed.
See if febi ZH-M hydraulic fluid is compatible to Ferrari. This fluid is clear and won’t stain the interior when it leaks.
Manual top all the way. The systems going to leak and fail again. Do a custom hard top
There really isn't that much of an advantage between electric vs hydraulic in this application. I think the real problem is the complexity of the system and the fact that it has sat for as long as it has. It shouldn't take 7 actuators, several of which that need to be synchronized with each other. That's too complex.
Ditch the hydraulic pumps and do a manual conversion of it's possible. Simple is better, cheaper and more reliable. Or get a hard top. It makes the car flex less and feel more solid and have better handling.
Buying a salvage Ferrari is the best way not only to let them know you have a very small "male appendage" but to also say "I have a light wallet strapped for cash so you're going to have to pay on the first date"…. Lmao 😂 😂😂
he has a lift 😀
congrats !
Benefits of hydronic top? They can charge you a boom as they know they go wrong
All the way
Give me a manual Miata top all day long.
Manual tops are so much easier when they're done right. I've had great ones in an MG Midget and a few Alfa Spiders. Not like an MGB where you're pulling the stupid thing apart, including separating the frame. Anyways, just unclipping up front and throwing it back is far superior in my opinion. Then sell off all the hydraulic components.
I don’t like the shiney look the product gave the leather 😅
a priori: do not own a high end convertible w/o a garage. w/ a garage, you keep the top down all the time & only drive it on nice days. if it rains while on the road, put the top up. leave it that way until it's time to drive on a nice day.
As a fabricator welder, I laugh at the cost of those brackets 🤣
Take the build all the way!! You’re into it now so don’t give up.! Please keep the original paint Be worth more to someone that way.
Please let us know if you convert it to a manually operated top. I would definitely buy the car from you in that case
Sam, two things you should not make this manual but only after you have make sure the car is mechanically sound
Quite the opposite in Europe Convertibles always attract a premium price.
I stil want one of these videos after all this
I believe Car Ninja/Johnny converted the top on his 360 to manual (or maybe I’m confusing that with Hoovie’s 355…) so maybe that’s an option.
If it were me, I'd turn it into a manual top, but I'm not a YouTuber, so drag this repair out for as many vids as possible ðŸ‘ÂÂ
Sam, you crack me up buddy.
Nice name btw
Remove ALL of them, get them ALL repaired. Then that way, you know that your hydraulic system for the roof is all good. Or go manual.
These cars made for idiots who have a lot of money, so it designed by stupid way
What is the Hardtop Price for the 360s?
Yay lift !!!!!!! Sage thanks you
