5. If it was that easy to "fix" the RS frame rails, it wouldn't have been totaled.

6. How do you insure these cars? I recently asked an underwriter at AAA & she told me they wouldn't insure any salvage or lemon buyback vehicle, regardless of year/make/model/mileage etc. So?

7. Serious question. How can you rebuild a car, and not know how to break in? I learned to break in before I could drive. I reckon we just had different childhoods. All the car guys I know can break in about as quick as you can get your fob out yer pocket.

8. I sure hope you never hit anything with the front of that car. Those frame rails are majorly compromised! Need to be replaced to be road worthy

16. Why not just unbolt the hinges on the front passenger door and pull the front of the door out, reach in and pop the lock up?

17. These are such great looking cars, looking forward to seeing the upcoming work. I found a similar one on Copart. 2018 Ford Focus Titanium. You'd almost have to see it in person because it says "Burn-Engine" but looking at the car it doesn't look bad at all. (Lot # 24086179) Or I'm guessing it'll go for a high price. A bit unusual to see one of these cars as a burn car, it's not a Ferrari. : )

21. kiss all safety goobye with those bacon strip frame rails. metal is never the same once its bent. on a body panel go for it. on the structure of the car, no way. engine shoulve been pulled and a new frame rail shouldve been welded in.
