When I came to, I was surrounded by people all taking pictures and videos, and not one person attempted to help me. Now story #2: I was crossing the street in Manhattan when some girl pulling a suitcase behind her tripped me and again I went splat in the middle of the intersection. I was instantly lifted as if I was a feather, by many arms to put me back on my feet. People came from all directions to give me quarters, pens and other things that had flown out of my purse. This is why I LOVE NY.
