For Black musicians like Prince and Ciara, owning the copyrights to their music has been a form of empowerment.

  1. Why do racists feel the need to comment on anything with "black" in the title? If you guys don't like us then just leave us alone 😅 The obsession is bizarre. Get out?

  2. These black artists also signed their rights/ownership away. If they didn’t like that, then they shouldn’t have done so and complain now

  3. Don’t sign contracts!! Start your own company to distribute and promote it yourself. You got to pay to play in the big leagues!! For anyone!!

  4. When you willingly sell something it is no longer yours, you do not get to simply reclaim it, you have to pay for it and buy it back. And that is the case regardless of one's race.
If you don't like being a musician in a Capitalist society,.. there are alternatives available to you,.. the world is your oyster.

  5. Wait what now your saying that this happens to black people pretty sure this happens to every race not just yours so either stop making it all about race or shut the fuk up
