    “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

    Given the amendment clearly states “well regulated”, it’s confusing as to the issue with regulations.

    It’s clear that gun manufacturers, who give money to the NRA, who gives money to politicians, don’t want any curtailment of gun sales that would reduce their profit.

    But the amendment does not state:

    Profit for gun manufacturers, being necessary to make their executives wealthy, the right of the NRA to fund politicians who won’t support gun safety shall not be infringed.
