  1. ptsd rod I'm 💀💀💀

  2. If you go the dry block route, couldn't you just run it on meth? I feel like that would still keep the engine cool and wouldn't get hot

  3. Who said you had to have one engine, why not have a water cooled oem block for drag and drives, street car stuff. and a billet block for the nitty gritty 🧐 I’m sure it’s not that hard to drop the motor (more or less aggravating I’m sure) but then again that’s not logical and that’s also an extra cost. 😅 I fellar could dream I suppose

  4. It could have hydro locked but youre also running alloy rods and they are a service item. You can't just keep running them like steel rods eventually they fail.

  5. You can get billet blocks that don't run water through the deck surface to the head. A billet block also doesn't suffer from the sort of deck distortion that causes head gaskets to leak. You seem to have some misconceptions of what a billet block is able to offer. Do some real research then weigh up whats more costly, saving a few thousand on a block and missing events due to failures or building a solid block and hitting every event.

  6. Damn this is truly sad to see 😔…on the flip side you will build a stronger greater vehicle 🔥🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪💪

  7. Put a stock k till someone beats your record 😂😂😂😂❤

  8. You’re at the top of the hill as far a stock 4 cylinder blocks, just like Cletus had to move onto an after market big block, you’re doing more than anyone in these cars. Be proud and put a billet block in it 😁

  9. Can you put some of the pistons and broken engine parts in the t shirt orders! I’m getting ready to buy a shirt and that would be awesome 😎

  10. I have said in several of your videos that you need to sell a crap load of your projects so you can afford quality parts and spare parts for the more competitive projects…. having a dozen projects just nickle and dime you to death… cut the fleet down to 1/3 of that… or stuff that v8 in the mr2….

  11. I dont think water got into that engine, there no signs of water on those pistons, combustion chamber or valves. The head gasket doesnt look to me like it failed either, even if it did it wont fill the cylinder with water especially during a run with all the cylinder pressure pushing the water back out.

The only hydro locked engines ive ever rebuilt have had the gasket fail but it wont fill the cylinder until the engine is off due to the pressure in the cooling system staying there because its still hot. Then the next time you start it you'll bend a rod because one cylinder is full of water.

My opinion is that the rod(s) have failed, the reason i think this is because it failed at the highest rpm the engine ever see's. (Check the data log) i reckon its stretched one rod and the piston has kissed the head unbalancing the whole rotating assembly and basically ratting itself to pieces.

Also aluminium work hardens and as you'd probably know the harder it gets the more brittle the material gets, maybe the rods have just had too many runs on them

  12. i agree with you're choice not going billet. I'm sure you're next engine going to be more than 100 percent perfect especially having Wyatt around lol. All the best boys !

  13. Ok you said if you went billet block youd have a filled block no water. So if you had a billet block now, you wouldnt have had water leak into the cylinders because as use you wouldnt have water in it. Hence if you were running a billet block you wouldnt have this problem…

  14. It's amazing to see what you're doing. Yes it sucks that you blew the engine, but you're doing amazing things with a 4 cylinder. I'm proud of what you're achieving and that you're showing to the people. Can't wait to see you rip with the new block mid 7's

  15. U should have know this was gonna happen no Honda handle 1300wheel hp it’s not a hellcat 😂

  16. I know you talked about it a couple months back, but while it is down have you given any thought to the transmission? I'm not saying the Quaife(spelling?) seq isn't sick, but you said that it kind of limits you in the classes you can run. I honestly don't know much about other options as far as matching the power level, be it auto or h-pattern. Either way man, it sucks, but we have seen you come back from worse! Like you said, luckily it wasn't a billet block.

  17. Electric water pump.
    Turn on for street driven
Get to track. Turn pump off. Drain system and block and rip it and tow around at track.
It’s been done for drag week
Shame she will be down for long.
Keep up the hard work tho bro

  18. That poor survivor of a rod needs a friend now, at least a bearing to hold.
For the price of just one cup of coffee, you can see the next video in a coffee shop

  19. You can weld a billet block to fix windows . Also if water was issue billet block solves that . Thought you just said you had complete rotating assy sitting at jbr . Seems like jbr not being able to do the work right now is the issue .
