4. Of course we can reach heard immunity , and we did already. That never means "no one can get infected again". How long before a response of immune system is the only thing that matters, and that's what we're talking about. Not ,, if whether or not we can be infected again can happen. When you're immune to a virus a response is quick. Immune to one and you can a mutation it's a little longer, but still works before there's to many virus duplicated in you. For sure a mutation of the one you're immune to will never become immune to unless we get it or another vaccine to that new virous . Just repeating the same old vaccine to a virous we already are immune to is useless. But after you kill off the new one , you're immune to that one now. Update new vaccines or just let us strong part of the population get it. That will keep our immune systems current. It's clear we're not going to try and keep up with mutations as we go with vaccines. And we'll never give it to everyone as time goes on anyway. So getting it is the only cure . And avoiding it is dangerous. Each mutation down the line without getting it takes longer and longer to immune system response. The longer you're infected before a response is what is more and more dangerous .
