Today we get to hear part 2 of Lenny’s story. And this part focuses on the fact that Lenny is still struggling with addiction. At 13 years old Lenny was first introduced to drugs. And during most of Lenny’s prison sentence, he was still using. So coming home after prison, it seems the vicious cycle still continues in this man’s life. Lenny had mentioned that he hopes his story helps someone. My hope is that him sharing his story first helps him. And to anyone who takes the time to hear what this man has to share, let the lesson be that addiction is so powerful and can overtake your life in ways that you couldn’t even imagine. In Lenny’s case, not even 43 years in prison could help this man break the cycle. But maybe sharing his story and receiving any sort of support through well wishes in the comments could offer him some new hope.
