Hoarders not only captures the drama as experts work to put each hoarder on the road to recovery but also highlights the individual’s inner challenges and triumphs. Although cleaning marks the first step of tackling this disorder, success is not definite. At the end of each episode we’ll find out who has been able to keep their hoarding behavior under control and who has fallen into the deep end of this painful disease.

A&E leads the cultural conversation through high-quality, thought provoking original programming with a unique point of view. Whether it’s the network’s distinctive brand of award-winning disruptive reality, groundbreaking documentary, or premium scripted drama, A&E always makes entertainment an art. 1. I thought I was a hoarder until I subscribe to a "right-brain course" From what I am seeing in this episode, I think Jake is a "right brain, more than a hoarder. Make some research online or email me if you dont find stuff that helps… .it changed my life

  2. Interesting thing I noticed about watching Hoarders: To people older than 30, 'f–k', 's–t', 'd–m' (does You Tube censor?) are HORRIBLE WORDS YOU ONLY USE WHEN YOU MEAN IT!!!! To people under 30… 's–t' is the common word for 'stuff that I'm frustrated with', and 'd–m' is 'wow', and 'f–k' is 'hey, this irritates me'. I'm 23 and I have to remember not to say 'shit' when I literally mean 'stuff'. No wonder it pisses my mom off… Jake reminded me of that.
