Such a cute pony
That's it? you try one horse and that's it. Do you guys even know the costs of everything? Do you have a place to board him? Has your daughter ever ridden a horse? Does she even have any interest in horses? This is a big step make sure you know what your doing before you do it. Do you have a saddle, bridle, saddle blanket, halter, lead rope, grooming supplies, a vet, a boarding place, a farrier (if the horse uses shoes), and any knowledge of owning a horse. What happens if the horse colics. Do you know what to do. Are you gonna be prepared, do you know how to tell if the horse has colic, heck do you know what colic is? There is a lot of responsibility and time that a horse needs. I just think you should put a little bit more thought into this decision. It's not like taking care of a dog or cat. Horses need time and attention and a responsible care taker. Just maybe ask you 14 year old daughter what she's into and see if a horse even comes up. Think about it.
